I was 15 when I first discovered a love for photography. It was whilst taking photographs of the beautiful scenery of the South of France, using my tiny compact point and shoot camera. I was amazed by the colours captured from the stunning landscapes before me. It was then I decided that this is what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I was going to be a photographer!
At 16, it was time for me to choose my Alevel subjects and this would be the first year my school was to add photography to the curriculum. I was elated! For the next 2 years I was to learn basic photography skills and techniques and all about various well established photographers and their assorted genres, the aim being to assist me in establishing which kind of route I would be taking. There were so many to choose from! Would I be an architectural photographer, a food photographer, a photo journalist or a portrait photographer?
When I enrolled at University I had access to a real life studio! This was when I discovered I wanted to photograph people. I used the studio for 3 years to better my knowledge and skills of practice, until my studies were complete and I graduated with an Honors degree in professional photography. Since graduating I have had the brilliant opportunity of working for 2 professional studios where I developed the skills to shoot and edit my photographs as they would.
I believe I can give you a great professional photography experience, at a competitive price. If you have any questions and would like to get in touch, then please do so via the contact page.
